010214 - Flashlights and monochromatic feels

Spent the third day of the year with my two favorite cousins, Crisma and Cyra (plus, a dozen more relatives na hindi namin ka-close so yeah). Due to the countless awkward moments that we had experienced between short conversations with our grandparents, tito’s, and tita’s, we decided to escape the never ending ‘life’ questions by having a photo shoot inside my lair.

The shots turned out pretty amazing! In fact, I didn’t have to post process them anymore. And to think that our light source only came from an iTouch’s flashlight utility. I’d definitely love to do this kind of shoot again next time!

All photos are taken by yours truly. Please do not take without my permission.

I usually edit my photos on photoshop (version cs6). But whenever I feel lazy since medyo hassle mag photoshop, I use vscocam instead or afterlight. Thanks, by the way! You, too! Happy new year! 😊

There’s only a few more hours left until this year ends and I just want to take the time to dedicate this post to everyone who has been part of my 2013. Although my year didn’t exactly start out the way how I expected it to, it sure ended pretty well and I really am thankful, for everything.

Here’s to a fresh start.

"You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.”

— Azar Nafisi (via aulacrimosa)
"I’d cut my soul into a million different pieces just to form a constellation to light your way home. I’d write love poems to the parts of yourself you can’t stand. I’d stand in the shadows of your heart and tell you I’m not afraid of your dark.” — Andrea Gibson (via sunkissedlou)
